Digicel continues support of BVI Music Festival

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - Digicel has once again teamed up with the BVI Music Festival Committee and the Government of the Virgin Islands to bring another exciting line-up of international, regional and local artists together for BVI Music Fest 2013.

Digicel CEO Declan Cassidy stated, ‘Digicel is delighted to be able to support this local event again. This community based event showcases the best of local and regional talent in a safe, fun environment where people of all ages can come together to enjoy the music’.

Digicel continue to contribute financially to the festival whilst providing internet access for live streaming. The Digicel team will also be on site to hand out promotional items to the music going public.

Executive Producer Rhodni Skelton said the BVI Music Fest is a part of the BVI’s rich heritage. “The line-up this year is sure to delight audiences with its depth of musical heritage. We are proud that such artists as Gramps Morgan will be visiting the stage in 2013. The committee would like to express our appreciation to Digicel for their support and invite everyone to come on down and enjoy the great line up of entertainers.”

Featured artists this year include Gramps Morgan, Ritical, Assasin, Glen Washington, Heatwave, Shai, Claudette Peters and Volume International.

BVI Music Festival will take place at Cane Garden Bay beach between 24th and 26th May.
