ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Digicel is celebrating 14 years in the [British] Virgin Islands with a weekend of gifting and surprises for customers.

From Friday, November 25, 2022, until Monday, November 28, 2022, customers can take advantage of various Digicel deals and promotions.

Over the past 14 years, Digicel has established itself as the preferred choice in the British Virgin Islands as a result of its world-class network and its ongoing commitment to delivering the best value and service to all customers. This is demonstrated by the significant levels of investment the company continuously makes to improve services.

Digicel is the only mobile network in the VI that provides seamless LTE coverage throughout the territory, as well as the widest mobile coverage on land and at sea. The company also recently invested over US$5 million in the rollout of its state-of-the-art Fibre to the Home network to provide best-in-class internet, with up to 1GB speeds, for business and residential customers.

'This Friday is all about saying thank'- Digicel BVI CEO

Mara Samaniego, CEO at Digicel BVI said, “This Friday is all about saying thank you to our loyal customers, staff, and brand ambassadors in BVI by giving them MORE. That’s more value, more savings, more data, more minutes, more of everything they love! The gifting begins on Friday at Digicel stores on Tortola and Virgin Gorda, with up to 30% discount on select devices, and all of them come with a free 7-Day starter bundle. On Friday customers will get 5X Data on all of our plans, Saturday and Sunday 2X Data and on Monday and Tuesday, 3X Data on selected plans.”

Digicel also recently also launched Pick & Win, the new gamified way to win in the MyDigicel app this Christmas season and beyond. Each week users will have a chance to win an iPhone 14 Plus and other prizes and, for new Digicel+ customers, Digicel will be giving away one MacBook Air weekly until 30 December 2022.

Alejandra Casares, Marketing Manager at Digicel BVI added, "Looking back over the years, we've taken great pleasure in keeping the territory connected to the world while also giving back to our communities locally through sponsorships of events like the Charter Yacht Show, the GenY Factor school competition, Esyln Henley Richiez Learning Centre and other projects. Again, we say thank you to everyone in the Digicel family, and we look forward to continuing to serve the people of BVI and giving them MORE."
