ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - Digicel today announced that it is the Exclusive Telecommunications Sponsor of the Road Town Festival Village, which is scheduled to kick off festivities on Sunday, July 27, and will continue until Saturday, August 9, 2014.

Celebrating the BVI’s 60th year of Festival, thousands of people are set to turn out for the Road Town village festivities to enjoy delicious food, games, and, of course, live music on the festival stage. The electrifying Road Town lineup features the talents of Digicel’ s regional brand ambassador, Tessanne Chin, Destra, Sizzla, Jah Cure, Iwer George, and many more.

Digicel Commercial and Operations Director, Kevin Smith, said, “For the BVI, the 60th Festival Anniversary is a very special event, culminating all of the experiences, expressions and celebrations of the past six decades. Digicel is honored to be a part of this momentous occasion as we celebrate BVI culture.”

This year, Digicel is raffling a variety of smartphones at the village on paid nights, up to 60% off select smartphones and 4G data offers.
