LONDON, United Kingdom– Governor John J. Rankin, CMG has been caught in a scandal over whether he knew in advance of the United States (US) sting operation that led to the arrest of ex-Premier of the Virgin Islands, Honourable Andrew A. Fahie (R1).

Published on Monday, September 26, 2022, a podcast by Tortoise Media, a UK media house entitled 'Paradise Bust: Scandal in the British Virgin Islands', has explored and sought to find answers on what British Government officials knew about the drug sting operation that led to the arrest of Hon Fahie in Miami.

Miami Arrest on April 28, 2022

On April 28, 2022, Governor Rankin in a press statement revealed he was informed that then Premier Fahie was arrested in Miami.

“It is my duty as Governor to inform you that this morning the Honourable Premier Fahie was detained in Miami on charges related to conspiracy to import a controlled substance and money laundering,” Governor Rankin shockingly disclosed.

The Governor in the statement said the arrest was concerning that of a British citizen and that the US Government has informed the UK Government, as part of the usual process followed when a British citizen is arrested abroad. He said the UK Government subsequently informed him as Governor.

However, the then Premier was not an ordinary citizen, but rather a high-ranking Government official and leader of a British Overseas Territory.

Governor maintains he did not know about Fahie sting

While the Governor has never admitted to authorising DEA operations and indicated that he was not aware of the sting operation, the podcast explored the possibility that someone was lying about who knew about the operations that led to the arrest.

Speaking in the Tortoise Media podcast, Governor Rankin maintained, “It was London who informed me because they had been informed by the US authorities that morning of the arrest of Premier Fahie..."

“This was not a joint UK/US operation it was a US operation which led to the arrest of former Premier Fahie,” he further said.

Tortoise Media said, despite the claims of the Governor, that a recording sent ‘inadvertently’ by the Governor’s Office suggested that the Governor does in fact sign off on US DEA operations in the VI and that he generally knows of investigations that are underway.

Governor admits to authorising DEA operations

The Governor in a short clip said, “I do give the authorisation for DEA operations.”

Tortoise Media further revealed that while the Governor was aware of operations, he maintained that in the case of Hon Fahie, he was not informed about the operations.

Giles Whittell, Tortoise Media podcast narrator outlined, “So one of two things happened in Miami… either the UK Government was genuinely blindsided by Fahie's arrest which would be odd if the Governor who after all is responsible for security and is meant to sign off on DEA operations.”

“This would mean the Office of the Attorney General in Washington declined to inform an ally that the Head of Government was due to be arrested in a planned sting operation."

He said another possibility was that Her Majesty’s Government was not blind-sided, "and at some level, acquiesced in the removal of a Premier it had reason to believe was corrupt.”

UK might have known about operations - Podcast suggests

Whittell in his podcast suggested that the UK might have outsourced its law enforcement to the US, with another possibility that the Governor was not told about the operations for his own safety.

“But it doesn’t mean Washington won’t speak to London,” he added.

The Premier, according to Tortoise Media, is now confined in a two-bedroom flat in Miami where he must stay there 24/7.

In a court document filed by his attorney Theresa Van Vliet, Hon Fahie successfully requested that the trial resumes no sooner than January 16, 2023.

So if all “these” people work for the devil, who do the traffickers work for? God? Do you think Fahie was working for the betterment of the BVIs in his alleged schemes.

You really want that question answered huh?

Its simple if there was no "war on drugs" half the people who are hooked on them would be able to get medical assistance as logically it is a health problem to take harmful substances into YOUR body.

The devil worshipers make these 'drugs' both healthy & poisonous, all illegal not to stop crime but to CREATE it.

Not only that the 'consciousness expanding drugs' yea that's totally illegal because they do not want the population to question the globalist culture they want our future generations to be born into.

The president of Colombia recently went to the UN assembly and blasted them about the consequences of this Forever war on drugs that is continually being lost, and steadily creating more violence & supporting crime.

Yet you hear nothing of his speech as if he's waging a war in Ukraine. He said decriminalize. Joe says no that's not our policy.

Do you ask yourself why did the CIA allegedly imported coke into the inner cities of America????!!!!
Do you ask yourself why major drug lords including El chapo were allegedly on the Americans payroll???
Do you ask why Joe Biden described black people as super predator's? Fact.

Next up the people who were responsible for this war on drugs have already admitted it was not about the drugs, so why are we still creating legions of cartels and gangsters with this prohibition policy?

Probably because there's lots of money in it for law enforcement and power to control other countries, its the perfect excuse to dabble in foreign affairs which America has no call being involved in. This war on drugs has arguably destroyed the economy of Latin America.

Any country with the resources to out compete America is considered a 'National security issue". In 2022. Fact.

Due to one global policy issued from North America in the 1970s, the whole South America including Mexico has been degraded into a complete disaster zone, which they are only just pulling themselves out of, no thanks to the USA or European countries.

They literally leave destruction in every country they go into can you tell me that is not the devils work?

Why did Joe Biden say his drug policies and the harm it created was one of his biggest mistake, yet he does not want to listen to the merits of the Colombian leader's speech??

All these actions & words can only be described as demonic. At times the devil will put you to work and you dont even realize. A man like Joe Biden is a good Christian but as the bible says you shall know them by their fruit.

All of them need to reflect if they really think they are doing good by creating trouble then swooping in like a hero.

Alcohol prohibition was another complete disaster that spawned the likes of Al Capone. The real McCoy, real gangsters. I dont believe they are stupid enough to make the same mistake twice.

Ergonomic policies are simple to create but they want to & they do make paradise on this earth hard for whole sections of the globe.

The progression of control starts with Language, religion, then money. Eventually we find ourselves calling medicines our ancestors used regularly "drugs" and worshiping a dollar as if we can squeeze milk of if it when it crashes. Globally most people have traditionally lived lives without money.

They know resources are most important, paper for resources. Take the resources and convince the traditionally living people of the world to run for paper. Capitalism, sell them sh they dont need.

This is what it means to stay woke. Think for yourself.

People knowledge is power because all will happen now is a set microphone talk: we chit and chat about the commission of inquiry: we chit & chat about the video and now the talk shows will continue……. The DEA had to have consent and round table discussions to go after our former premier

around 1972 the British & United Sates of American established an agreement associated with drug trafficking Babylon system is a vampire

its not breaking theaw to undercover operation in a foreign territory advise them out of courtese. it is obvious that the DEA decided that there could ha e possibly been involvement from anyone and everyone from the top dow so decided not to let anyone know for fear that it would leek out. ....that includes the governor. no black or white about it..they were concerned that givernors office could have been involved given that it included hi ranking people in the territory.
this is not grounds to have the court case thrown out.

Don't let them fool you the Governor know what was going on all the time he is responsible for security any sting operation he must give approval along with force. Otherwise operations becomes void. Well since they didnt know these people came in the territory to work and violated the laws of the territory. No wonder customs head exposed the police taking people out and in the territory without proper clearance. All of them had to know so don't be fooled with your eyes wide open

It matters because he lied to us & our media houses. Then went to the UK and told them his truth. Dont tell me one flavor of corruption is better than the other. These persons are supposed to be held to a higher standard and he is just showing us he has no accountability to the people.

How is this "not news worthy" when Boris Johnson nearly got fired over a office party because of the lie that people MUST isolate, while they themselves gathered together? Must be those paid posters back at it.

This really aint far off from plantation dynamics. The slaves are due nothing not even the truth, meanwhile they're sending our sugarcane profits back up north.

yall reasoning abilities are so flawed, yall know he was asked this after fat man scoop thought he was going to touch money in Florida, after the arrest. Him saying that he did not know. 1 if that is true and authorization was given in the UK without informing him, then it says the UK did not trust him with sensitive information. 2. If he did know and flat out lied, his credibility as a leader who is the champion of transparency and accountability is shot because his lied when avoidance or a dismissive answer would have do. Either way this really don't look good on him
