Detained persons refusing to take COVID-19 test– Hon Malone
Hon Malone made the announcement this afternoon, September 20, 2021, during a COVID-19 update.
According to the Health Minister, 47 actives cases were recorded as of today, where 12 were discovered on entry testing.
He said troubling; however, is that 35 of the 47 active cases were found within the VI community, indicating high community spread of the virus.
Risks to law enforcement officers
According to Hon Malone, the new trend of persons in conflict with the law refusing to test, “Potentially exposes and places considerable risks to our law enforcement officers.”
He said Cabinet has therefore taken a number of measures to mitigate the threat to law enforcement and the prison population.

He said given there are legal restrictions that prohibit the enforcement of testing of all persons in conflict with the law, irrespective of them being officially charged for an offense, Cabinet has decided that prior to being lawfully detained, a persons will be required to take a COVID-19 test, unless the Attorney General (AG) says otherwise.
For persons who have been arrested and are being held at the police station, if subsequently charged, they will be subjected to a rapid antigen test prior to being transported to Her Majesty's Prison.
“We are not out of the woods yet," the minister said regarding the alarming number of local cases originating in the community.
He encouraged persons in the VI to get vaccinated, as the key proven and tested way to protect against the virus and end the pandemic.

No person or persons that are unable to prove that they are Coviid-19 virus free should be allowed to attend patients in any health facilities anywhere.
No person or persons that refused a heath test should be allowed to be a food handler in any public restaurant, but should not be discriminated against from exercising their freedom rights, if their actions do not threatened others rights. So you see? It goes both ways. "What's good for the geese is good for the hands", I hope.

Wow, I am a true Christian believer, and a Bible student from my teen. Also, I hold a bachelor and a Master degree in Biblical studies. The Bible doesn't support your theory that the anti-covid-19 virus vaccines are as you are trying to convince others,as you have yourself, that they are. While you may seem to the unlearn that you know what you are right in your judgement, you and many others have scriptures through the limit ability of the human mind, not the unmatched knowledge of God's Holy Spirit. Only God Son and His Spirit know the fullness of God mind. All belief that differ and contridicts God Word, ordinated in the minds of Satan, to fallen angels, to man's ( deceived humans) mind.
Anti-covid-19 virus vaccines, though being used by men for health and money making purposes are not the "Mark of the Beast, as do many do believe and spread false information. While it is true that that they, the vaccines are imperfect, they have proven to save the lives of hundreds of millions of people in this world, where they were administered. But thousands that have taken them have died, because of various reasons.

There is a passage of Scripture that is in Proverbs or Eleciastes, I don't at this time remember which Chapter and verse at this time, but you and all others that choose to can look it up. It say, in a question form, "why should a man die before his time."

My heart goes out to the government Minister of Health. It is true that I have disagreed with him on some of the ways that he has brought some of his messaged across, but for antivaxxers, he is wrong on almost everything that he has said, in reference to the covid-19 virus issues.
Since when tested for covid-19 virus confirmation is wrong, and he and others deserved to be curse at by antivaxxers and their flocks? Lord God of loving mercies, open up our blinded eyes to see, our minds to recognize the way of inclusive love, in the false-god place of material worshippers, where You are seen through the eyeware of lifeless money, and we human are lifted up in pride only to fall to dust, and become as were once again with nothing as first came, in the name of Jesus, your own name that you have given to Him.
