      @ Slavery
You asked a very immature question. Now read the following, below.

We need a governor to help govern a people that has failed, and continue failing to unite with each other mostly because of the greediness in their heart (mind) to distribute or share the wealth of their God given blessings among themselves unselfishly, especially those in political leadership positions, and many other reason included. However, that does not means that them that have been, and will be chosen in to be governors will be void of injustice practice, did others were appointed in in the position of governor of the BVI.

The shucking and jiving, steppin and fetchin locals are only useful to act with strict guidance for a few days. They are only useful to act for a few days. They don’t look the part to represent crown and are not even considered for being appointed Governor. In fact, the VI people have no say in who is appointed Governor to represent them S governor. That is real democratic, is it not?? Yet the VI taxpayers pay the cost for the UK-appointed Governor on their tropical vacation, ie, housing, food, entertainment, transportation, telecommunications, travel, etc.; parasites. But the VI people gladly like playing host. Since 1741, the Crown has been assigning representatives to the Virgin Islands and to date not a Black or a woman has been assigned to represent the crown. We are now in the 21st Century; 31/2 centuries and not black or woman could qualify?

@Quiet Rebel, ease up on the shucking and jiving, steppin and fetchin people nah? They are so thrill and happy to be whooped, fooled, used, etc and enjoy it. They don’t want to hear truth so they will not even read what you say, for fear the truth will set them free. Some Virgin Islanders see themselves as children who need to whooped and taught a a lesson. I’m not making this up, for one of the religious members who met with Amanda Millins when she was in the territory on a false fact finding mission said so. Me nah tell ah yu who now. Watch and listen you will hear denials. What a bunch of wet noodle, embarrassing,,Sambos. Where is Amanda Millins these days??? Happy holidays and hope 2024 bring Virgin Islanders a spine and backbone, heart, strength, courage to fight for their rights and freedom. Virgin Islanders can gift themselves this for the New Year.

The bow tie man cannot disagree with the governor on the injustice he is apart of? We all know what happens if you don't toe the line...

The constitution needs to be changed, for this temporary acting is nonsense. With technological advancement, is, telecommunications, etc, the Governor, Premie, etc is only phone call, t dot, email, etc away to address any issue that may arise. The Governor doesn’t have to be on island to address issues. It is not that any other country or territory is going to attack the Virgin Islands. The exceptions are if the Governor is off island and going to be incapacitated, etc. The President of the US and PM of the UK go overseas and still serve as President and PM without designating anyone to act on their behalf. The acting thing is just a sham. If memory serve me right during Christmas of 2021(?), controversial and media wh….re former Governor Augustus Jaspert left the island and left the Deputy in charge but still Governor took it upon himself to issue the Christmas message.
