PASEA ESTATE, Tortola, VI – In a commendable move to support the community, a local gas station in the Virgin Islands has stepped up with a generous contribution to the 2025 Graduation Exercise, an event that signifies the culmination of years of hard work for students across the territory.

Delta Petroleum, one of the leading petroleum companies in the Virgin Islands, has made a notable contribution to this significant occasion. The company’s commitment to education and community development was highlighted during an official presentation held on Monday, July 7, 2025.

During the ceremony, Country Manager Mrs Suzanne Rymer presented the contribution to Minister for Education, Youth Affairs and Sports Honourable Sharie B. de Castro (AL), in the presence of Chief Education Officer Mrs Orlandette R. Crabbe. The event served as a celebration of educational achievement and community spirit.

Teachers, Principals & Parents acknowledged

In her remarks shared on Facebook, Mrs Rymer expressed, “We extend our warmest congratulations to all graduating students across the BVI. Your perseverance and dedication have brought you to this momentous occasion. A heartfelt thank you goes out to the teachers, principals, and parents for their unwavering commitment to shaping tomorrow’s leaders.”

Mrs Rymer emphasised Delta Petroleum's enthusiasm in celebrating this pivotal milestone with the Virgin Islands community.

    How is the money to be spent? As far as I know schools are responsible for their graduations.
