ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- With lively music and tooting of horns, a motorcade moved through Tortola on July 7, 2016, making many aware of the partnership between Delta Petroleum (Caribbean) Limited and National Petroleum Marketing Company Limited (NP) of Trinidad and Tobago to bring top quality motor lubricants to the Virgin Islands (VI).

Among the participants of the motorcade were Regional General Manager for Delta Petroleum, Mr Bevis A. Sylvester and Account Manager- Export of National Petroleum, Kendal Charles.

Mr Charles explained that “Trinidad and Tobago’s NP is promoting range of automobile and industrial lubricants. The lubricants are blended in Trinidad and Tobago and distributed throughout the Caribbean and in the BVI.”

Delta Petroleum is the authorised distributor for NP’s products in the Virgin Islands. The Trinidad and Tobago National Petroleum Marketing Company Limited is regarded as the most diversified petroleum marketing company in the English-speaking Caribbean.

According to Mr Sylvester, “Ultra Lubricants products will be branded in Trinidad and Tobago at the largest blended branch in the region.”

Mr Sylvester also expressed delight that Delta Petroleum was able to form a partnership with NP to become the authorised distributor of NP products.

“Trinidad and Tobago National Petroleum has over 40 years in the oils and gas business. They are quality focused, ensuring that BVI gets a product that is blended to international standards,” added Mr Charles.

Other participants of the motorcade that made its way from Pockwood Pond, through Road Town, to East End and back, were staff and supporters of Delta Petroleum Caribbean Limited and contestants of the Mr and Miss Junior BVI Pageant.

The motorcade DJ was the popular Paul ‘Gadiethz’ Peart.
