ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - The Ministry of Education, Youth Affairs, and Sports has announced the appointment of Ms Debra D. Hodge as the new Director of Youth Affairs and Sports.

According to the Ministry of Education Facebook Post, Director Hodge joins the Ministry with decades of dedicated experience in youth work and a career defined by advocacy, mentorship, and community impact. 

The ministry further stated that, "Her vision is clear: to champion the voices of our young people and strategically advance the standards of sports across our Territory."

In 2025, Hodge was appointed to the Virgin Islands Scholarship Committee for a two-year, ten-month term, effective March 1, 2025.
