DUFFS BOTTOM, Tortola, VI – A total of 45 Bowlers attended the BVI Bowling Association’s third annual BVI Inter-Island Scratch Bowling Tournament on Saturday March 1, 2014 at the Save the Seed Energy Center in Duff’s Bottom.

The Bowlers representing Puerto Rico, St. Croix, St. Thomas and Virgin Islands all took part in the competition with just the top 12 progressing into round two in two rounds of competition.

The VI’S Kai De Castro, with 712 points was the only ‘home’ player to make the cut and was joined in round two by Carlos Bendily - Puerto Rico, 845, Kelvin Rodrigues – Puerto Rico, 825, Jean F. Perez - Puerto Rico, 822, Preston Tutien - St. Croix, 781, Alwyn Baptiste - St. Croix, 771, Leroy Brooks - St. Croix, 764, Minuer Dawhara – Puerto Rico, 750, Adanskee Henry - St. Croix, 738, Kevin Kiture - St. Croix, 732, Omar Osborne - St. Croix, 728 and Louis Henley - St. Thomas, 708.

De Castro was unfortunately eliminated during round two, with Perez, Rodrigues, Bendily and Henry, who ultimately took home the top prize of $1000.

Other prizes were handed out to 2nd place - Kelvin Rodriguez (PR) ($500); 3rd place - a tie between Jean F. Perez (PR) & Carlos Bendily (PR) ($225 each).

Kelvin Kiture won the prize for first man to bowl 6 strikes in a row ($100); Jean F. Perez won highest single game for men with a score of 266 and received a $100 prize. Violet de Castro of VI was top female and won the $400 prize for ladies highest first round four game series with a score of 676. De Castro also captured the highest single game for ladies with a score of 187 and received a $100 prize.

Other VI players who made top 20 of 45 participants were: #11 Kai de Castro (712 pts); #15 Renaldo Fahie (683); #17, Violet de Castro (676); #18 Thomas Richardson (674) #19 Adrian Mc Coy and Bernard Grant (672).

The BVI Bowling Association comprises Renaldo Fahie, President, Michael Kendal - Vice President, Brenda Fahie - Secretary, Joe Standish - Treasurer, Cresentia Jn. Baptiste- Assistant Secretary, Rhonda Brown -Public Relations Officer and Bernard Grant - Sergeant of Arms.

Why don't you gather all the negative id**** like yourself and go and resuscitate Bobby's bowling ally since you think that the church committed murder.
