David D. Archer Jr to act as governor for 1 month
The Deputy Governor of the Virgin Islands, David D. Archer Jr, will serve as Acting Governor for one month during Governor Pruce's absence.
Governor Pruce will be out of the territory from November 22, 2025, to December 23, 2025, to particpate in the Joint Ministerial Council, which is taking place from November 26 to November 27, 2025, in London and will proceed to his annual leave thereafter.
Oath of allegiance & execution of office
Mr Archer's Oath of Allegiance and Oath for Due Execution of Office were administered by Her Ladyship, the Honourable Justice Angelica Teelucksingh, in the presence of His Excellency Governor Daniel Pruce on November 20, 2025.
Deputy Governor Archer, Jr.'s appointment complies with Section 37 (1) (a) of the Virgin Islands Constitution Order 2007, which states, “During any period when the office of Governor is vacant, or the Governor is absent from the Virgin Islands or is, for any other reason, unable to perform the functions of his or her office, the Deputy Governor shall, during His Majesty’s pleasure, act in the office of Governor and shall perform the functions of that office accordingly.”

Imagine the stink in some of the stupid media when he is shamefully and racistly demoted from his position as Governor and forced out of his position into his former role.
Yeah, Guv Daniel Pruce is more slllppery than a green congo (eel); he is cunning and slipperier than a rattle snake. He injected his venom on the BVI people , then quickly and quietly raced to the UK to hide, waiting for things to cool down before slivering back into the territory to finish the job. In the meanwhile, Virgin Islanders are in a slumber on WTF happened. What a bunch of lazy @$$ crabs in a bucket who don’t get that when one Virgin Islander is shafted, all are shafted and a united front is needed. Do they believe that the alligator will eat them last. Let them continue appeasing the crocodiles. Sir Winston Churchill, for UK PM notes: “ Appeasement is feeding the crocodiles hoping they will eat them last.” Virgin Islanders are being outwitted in broad daylight with their eyes wide open on a clear, sunny day. They better wake the f up from their deep slumber, paying close attention to the mirages. Daniel Pruce is a snake in the grass. He will strike, strike, and strike again. That is what rattlers do. Here is a news flash. A compassionate, caring lady found an ailing snake along the the road. She took it home and nursed it back to health. Then the snake bit and tried to squeezed her to death. She asked the why after she took care of and nursed it back to health why it tried to inflict injury upon her, the snake replied it is a snake doing what snakes do, ie, strike,striker., etc. Snakes cannot be trusted.
