VALLEY, Virgin Gorda, VI- Food delivery just got a bit easier for residents of Virgin Gorda with the soft launch of the island’s first food delivery app.

Created by Zandin V. Noel, a young Virgin Gorda resident, ‘Dash Me BVI’ was soft-launched on Monday, December 15, 2025.

“It's a food delivery app that connects restaurants to customers and helps everyone who needs food delivered when they're busy at work, and if they're too lazy to just go out and get the food themselves,” Noel told Virgin Islands News Online (VINO) on Tuesday, December 16, 2025.

A project to reality

Noel, who was born in the Virgin Islands (VI) and raised in Grenada, moved back home to attend the H. Lavity Stoutt Community College (HLSCC), where he obtained an Associate’s Degree in Graphic Design: Computer Science.

App building and tech have always been an interest of his, he added, “It was a project I was working on in HLSCC. Then, after I finished HLSCC, I just thought of bringing it to life…this project was something I wanted to do for a very long time.”

Finally, after two years, the Dash Me BVI is a reality.

Free app

Noel added that Dash Me BVI is a free app available for both Android and iPhone users via the Google Play Store and Apple’s App Store.

“Deliveries are facilitated through the app. I only do deliveries for our partner restaurants.”

Currently, the app facilitates delivery from its two partner restaurants, Chez Bamboo and Food Palace. Sugarcane Restaurant, he added, is working on its menu to be added to the app.

Since its launch, Noel has had business, and we spoke with him just as he was wrapping up a delivery.

“All the orders were placed successfully and delivered successfully, so I'm guessing they had a very good experience because the app is very easy and straightforward.”

Expansion all over the VI

Noel added that he hopes to one day bring this service to the other islands.

“I really do see this app all over the BVI. Virgin Gorda is just to test the app, make improvements, get feedback from customers and after the soft launch, I will be heading to Tortola…so I definitely will be expanding this app to all the sister islands.”
