Next year close the roads on Tortola for the 2 days where and when the competitors are riding in the annual BVI National Cycling Championships. Alternatively hold this annual cycling race on the paved roads of Anegada where there are a lot less vehicles.

Tortola has too many vehicles and is too busy to close any road for 2 days. Like you said, the race should be held on another island in a less populated area for safety reasons.
