Danny Henderson wins Plate Final @ Caribbean Squash C/Ships in Guyana

GEORGETOWN, Guyana- Danny Henderson has won the Plate Division in the 2025 Men’s Caribbean Area Squash Association (CASA) Championships in Guyana.

Henderson, who is part of the Virgin Islands team and a debutant at the championships, beat Ross D’Juran of Trinidad and Tobago in the Plate Final, 11-2, 11-3, 11-5, on November 25, 2025.

The win was somewhat of a revenge for Henderson's teammate, Rory Thornton, who was pipped in the Plate Semifinals by D'Juran.

Successful debuts

It was a successful showing for the Virgin Islands in the individual division.

Oliver Henderson made the Top 16, Danny Henderson was the Plate Winner, and Rory Thornton reached the semi-finals.

All three VI players were debutants in the CASA Individual Championships.

The Virgin Islands is now taking part in the Team Championships.

The other members of the team are National Champion Joe Chapman and Luca Reich.
