The UK officials are a boss at divide and conqueror. While they blocking the BVI from making medicinal Marijuana legal, they are in the UK making millions a year from it. These colonial people are always promoting ignorance and division and some of you swallow the Kool aid. Some of you speak as if the BVI has not done plenty good where the good far outweigh the bad. Certainly they have helped more people of the BVI over the last 40yrs to present than the UK has done per capita with their residents

They all say the same thing when being sworn in and then crickets. They come down here with the same agenda to be overseers over us. I have never met one governor who gave a rat's behind about us and don't expect them to because my eyes are wide open and colonialism and complete control is the goal of the U.K. to rule us all. As long as we are under them, it will never get better for us, and NOT ONE of our Premiers pushed for our independence.

Imagine some of you believing in a man who you know nothing about to rush in to your country and be a blessing and savior to you. When in fact the people of the BVI are the solution to any problem the BVI is experiencing.

Start by correcting a few wrongs by your predecessors. Start by demanding by law for all Governors and UK officials working in BVI including those in the Governor's office be mandated to register their interest in the BVI register of interest office according to law and stop them from exempting themselves. This does not reflect good governance.

Even if the BVI meet all the deadlines for implementation of the bogus prearranged COI and its preauthored 48 unrealistic recommendations the Brits will still not be satisfied because they are known to always shift the goal posts to always be about their own interest and no one else. This man has been instructed to carry on the same old mission with modern strategy so nothing will change for the better for the people of the BVI.

“As Governor, I look forward to collaborating with all those who have the best interests of the people of this Territory at heart, in positive and productive partnership,” Daniel Pruce. Now Governor no one can serve two masters at one time and you know that. Your only interest is what the UK Officials send you to the BVI to be interested in and that's it. The people of the BVI will not be hoodwinked.

Perusing Pruce’s resume and tours of duty, he has punched his ticket well, serving in a variety of locations with a myriad of jobs. Taking a wild ass guess that is his swan song tour. It begs the question is this a) a payback pre-retirement tour , a tropical vacation or b) a tour to complete what Rankin didn’t get done. Rankin, prior to departing made a proposal to give him additional power. Virgin Islanders need to be vigilant. They meet muscular action with muscular proactive action , not skeletal action . If they do, the system will crush them.

Facts are there is too much oppression and lingering imperialism. too much ingrained colonialism to stay quiet and sink further back into captivity.

There is too much racism coming from the Authorities aka the UK in terms of legislation and how they wanted us to die in Covid-19

Too much bull shocka to put away the “white slave master” memory when it’s right in front of us today just less disgusting.

It’s hard to forget slavery would you like the Jews to forget the hallocaust ? Oh I forget hallocaust denial is a crime in Europe unlike denial of European transatlantic slavery.

Given the chance colonialism will take freedoms away because to them you are a subject of the crown. Examine the police bill and unnecessary debt they tried very very hard to push on the local system after our most devastating hurricane which was similar in power to a volcano.

When Covid came they wrestled for power over health and implemented a “inquiry” meanwhile they said for Boris J mr party gate UK government that ‘it is a pandemic an emergency for and no time for a commission of inquiry’.

Let that sink in. Oh but little bvi can deal with both a pandemic and an inquiry at the same time.

Albert Einstein coined insanity as doing the same things over and over and expecting a different result. Nothing has changed policy wise with the passing of the baton of the governorship from former Governor John Rankin to Governor Daniel Pruce. Pruce , an experienced and long serving diplomat , was despatched to the VI either for a) a low key assignment in the tropics prior to retirement or b) to complete what Rankin started. He was despatched for the latter. Nevertheless, Virgin Islanders are disunited and behaving and performing in the same manner and with the same attitude as they did before and expecting a different result , hoping the colonialists will do things right and do the right things. They will not and Virgin Islanders will quicker see a green mule flying across Road Harbor.

It is time for Virgin Islanders to call for a self-determination referendum and let the chips fall where they may , plan, develop, and execute a self-empowerment plan, create a paradise of progress, justice and equality , etc. The VI went off grant-in-aid in 1979 under the Dr. Williard Wheatley administration. Self -determination options include independence, integration, and free association. The UK has had control of the VI since 1672, so why can’t the VI free associate with the UK as the Cook Islands have with New Zealand? It can be part of the modern partnership , family taking care of family or family is just a self-serving term which is conveniently flinged around.
