Cuba rejects new US measures against Iran, Venezuela
HAVANA. Cuba- Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez expressed his country's rejection on Wednesday of the new unilateral measures imposed by Washington against Venezuela and Iran, which he said violate international law and seek to increase aggression against both countries.
In a post on the "X" platform, monitored by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), he said, "We reject the new unilateral coercive measures imposed by the United States government against Venezuela and Iran."
The Cuban minister affirmed that these measures "contradict international law and seek to increase pressure and aggression against both countries."
The US Treasury Department added 10 individuals and entities based in Iran and Venezuela to its sanctions list, alleging their involvement in "activities supporting arms trade within the two countries' armament programs."
The Treasury Department included on the list the Venezuela-based company Impresa Aeronautica Nacional S.A., as well as the company's president, José González.
