Croal & Belle in 200m finals @Jr Pan Am Games in Paraguay

ASUNCION, Paraguay, SA- In a historic achievement, the Virgin Islands (VI) will have two athletes in the final of the Men's 200m at the Junior Pan American Games in Asuncion, Paraguay.
Bronze medallist in the Men's 100m, Jaleel N. Croal and Wanyaé Belle both gained automatic qualification on Wednesday, August 20, 2025.
Running in Heat 1 of the semi-finals, Belle sprinted to a 3rd place finish with a time of 21.08 for an automatic spot in the finals.
Competing in Heat 2 immediately afterwards, Croal crossed the line in 2nd place in a time of 21.03, also confirming his place in the finals.
The two VI sprinters will line up for the 200m Finals at 6:20 PM (5:20 PM VI time) today, Thursday, August 21, 2025, for their last event of ASU2025.
