Creative Waves calls for artists' submissions for artwork at T.B. Lettsome Int’l Airport

TRELLIS BAY, Beef Island, VI- Creative Waves has teamed up with the BVI Airports Authority (BVIAA) for the painting of a mural at the Terrence B. Lettsome International Airport.

Artists are being invited to apply for the opportunity to paint the mural on the 123-foot-long wall at the airport, which faces the arrivals and departures section. 

The mural's theme is ‘ASTRACT ART at the AIRPORT’. 

“Artists are therefore encouraged to create an abstract, pattern-based, exciting mural, using flow lines, patterns, symbols and shapes. The finished work will be 123ft x 1ft. 

A commission fee of $6,000 (to include materials) will be paid to the successful artist upon timely completion. The deadline for applications is Friday, July 25, 2025.
