So, Mr or Ms Pro Tip, how do you do YOUR “research”??
        Google search is not Research.

Maybe he/she uses common sense. And what their eyes sees not what the television tells them what to see or think. That’s a good start or maybe even the censored doctors that’s risking their reputation to spill the beans on what they think is going on and what they are finding in the vaxcine vials. How about the major uptick in myocarditis that’s killing these athletes on live tv.

We knew and expected that didn’t we? Lobster fest is going to be another one. As soon as the cases started to drop and curfew drop, people started going buck wild and careless. Who don’t listen and continue to proceed with out common sense shall feel the after effects.
    • Oh yes! (23/11/2021, 14:11) Like (2) Dislike (2) Reply
Lobster fest will be a big contributing factor to this already pending outbreak. Not everyone that attended those events will get tested but will be on those so called party ferry boats going to Anegada this weekend, further spreading the virus to now those who weren’t at those events. It’s been a week since those events, which means it has been spread through out the community through various business on island, it will now be spread to other persons attending this event this weekend. What a disaster for Christmas. This Lobster fest thing could’ve and should’ve been postponed until next year, it won’t make or break anyone involved or attending. Better safe than sorry. Safety first.

Yes but the Cruise passengers are vaxxed and tested before they get here. How many people attending these events can say the same? Vaccine hesitancy was always going to be bite us in the backside at some point and hopefully this is not the start of another community surge which could have been easily prevented

As long as the people with common sense continue to follow the protocols they will be good. The ones that don’t, that is there problem, that’s on them.

Minister of Health, please stop allowing these gatherings right now. We are still in a pandemic and must take things seriously. We have lost too many of our people from this deadly virus. I sure bet persons were not social distancing or wearing masks at these events. Not because some may have been vaccinated, they can still be positive. It is so sad to see what has happened here. People please Social distance and wear you Masks properly because we are not out of the woods as yet.

As far as we can see this thing is going be around for awhile. So what the must put a stop to all social activities because of possibility of outbreaks; nonsense. We have to live with this obviously all that needs to be done is have to correct protocols in place and follow them. The clubs and bars been open up. Same sort of atmosphere so what's the difference.

Once the cases dropped, People started getting lax. You simply can’t tell some of these bird brains people in Tortola anything. Keep playing around. Plenty of people Vaccinated and unvaccinated who was at the fish fete got infected. No one is saying one can’t go out and have a good time. BUT WHAT IS SO HARD ABOUT WEARING A MASK, SOCIAL DISTANCING AND KEEPING YOUR HANDS CLEAN.

You don't need to cancel functions, just use COMMON SENSE! Wear your masks, distance enough, no hugging and kissing with friends, cover your mouths if you sneeze or cough (which is normal and does not mean you have COVID). We could all live more freely if we just use COMMON SENSE! Come on people, it's time to start living again the smart way. SHEESH!

You are so correct, the only thing the people with common sense can do is continue to follow the protocols that was put in place. The ones that don’t, oh well. They will see what time it is.

Add fever and shortness of breath to the list of symptoms.
And add vaccination against Covid 19 and booster shots to protocol if you want to further protect yourself, your family, your elders.

  • Lucifer (23/11/2021, 10:13) Like (10) Dislike (6) Reply
People here have had plenty of time to 'do their own research' and it is clear we all have a choice, to get vaccinated or to take our chances with infection. Those that have not yet been vaccinated are making a conscious decision not to do so and the rest of the community should not have to be held back under restrictions because of this. To all those seeking the re-imposition of restrictions on events taking place, for how long is that realistic? Everyone has now made their beds and they should be allowed to sleep in them
