MEXICO CITY, Mexico- Master sprinter Courtney Bascombe blazed to a bronze medal in the men’s 100 metres at the North, Central American and Caribbean Masters Athletics Championships in Mexico City on Friday, November 7, 2025.

Bascombe had advanced to the final after winning his preliminary heat with a time of 11.43 seconds. He improved in the medal round, clocking 11.35 seconds to finish third overall.

The Virgin Islands’ athlete had a disappointing end in his 200M prelim heat; however, as he did not finish the race due to an injury mid-race.

Bascombe looked set for a top 3 finish but pulled up at the start of the home straight.
