ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – As a result of a moist and unstable airmass across the VI, the territory can expect cloudiness and showers across the islands over the next twenty-four hours the Department of Disaster Management has indicated.

The DDM in a forecast for today, November 5, 2022, said the VI can expect “Possible rainfall total for the forecast period is 5 to 25 mm or 0.2 to 1.0 inch.

Weather today is Cloudy with showers and thunderstorms and tonight the weather tonight is Cloudy with showers and a moderate chance of thunderstorms

Winds will flow Southeast at 19 to 35 km/h or 12 to 22 mph gusting to 44 km/h or 28 mph in showers and Seas: 1.2 to 1.8 metres or 4 to 6 feet.

The DDM has warned that seas are deteriorating and a small craft advisory will take effect tonight as seas could become up to 2.8 metres or 9 feet. 

Sunset is scheduled tonight at 5:44 and Sunrise tomorrow at 6:20 am.
