Claudia Creque Educational Centre wins FIN$MART FACEOFF 2026
The game hosted by Money Matters BVI emulates Jeopardy, where primary-level students test their understanding of select areas of financial literacy and financial services in a competitive arena.
The competition took place at the Eileene L. Parsons Auditorium in Paraquita Bay on Friday, January 23, 2026.
Agape Total Life Academy placed third, while Robinson O’Neal Memorial Primary School placed second.
Claudia Creque Educational Centre walked away with a cash prize of $1000, and its students each received $300.
Other participating schools were the Joyce Samuel Primary School, Enis Adams Primary School, Bregado Flax Educational Centre Primary Division, and Willard Wheatley Primary School.
Never too young to understand financial literacy
The Ministry of Education, Youth Affairs and Sports, one of the partnering agencies for the competition, said the FIN$MART FACEOFF proves “you’re never too young to understand the world of financial literacy and financial services,” in a Facebook post.
The post added that the ministry was proud to partner with Money Matters BVI to make learning about finance fun, engaging, and part of the student experience.
Meanwhile, Claudia Creque Educational Centre, in congratulating the winners on its Facebook page, said, “Their confidence, teamwork, and money-smart thinking truly shone on stage. We are so proud of you both. Way to represent CCEC.”
