CJRP Travel returns to VI air travel markets
CJRP Managing Director Mr. Neville Gumbs, in announcing the company’s new operation, said that they had experienced some operational problems in the past that has resulted in them suspending flights. He chooses not to go into further details but said they are back.
“CJRP Travel offers hassle free travel, providing customers with a more reliable way of air transportation,” he told Virgin Islands news online. Giving further detail via a press release, Mr. Gumbs noted that as of February 1, 2014, they will be operating to and from St. Kitts, catering to customers traveling from the United Kingdom, United States and Canada who wish to travel to neighboring Caribbean Islands, such as Anguilla, Antigua, Nevis, St. Maarten and Tortola.
“Our 19-seat aircraft is capable of seating 19 passengers comfortably with a luggage allowance of 50 pounds per person. Customers travelling on this service will receive VIP meet and greet service in Antigua with assistance transferring from International Carriers to our service, hassle free,” he said in the release.
The new operation of their own dedicated charter operation will see them using a 19-seat BAE Jetstream-32 aircraft provided by the aircraft management company, Bluestream Aviation Holdings Limited dba ServiPro S.A.
Mr. Gumbs said that their rates starts from US $105 one way. He said that though the economic down turn of economies worldwide has had an effect on their operations, with the combined efforts of its investors, shareholders and partners, the company strives to continue a reliable service, throughout the Caribbean.
CJRP scheduled arrival time, into Antigua is 2:30 p.m., allowing most passengers to connect on to the available departing international flight services. Departure time from Antigua is 5:00 p.m., however, if the arrivals into Antigua for the British Carriers are delayed, services will be adjusted to accommodate for the connection of British customers to this flight.
“Our service also operated into St. Maarten, two to three times daily, allowing customers to transfer to US Carriers, hassle free,” according to the Managing Director.

Also like another poster said with one aircraft that's a big risk - how many hours before you can get a replacement aircraft. And is it coming from Haiti like the one pictured?
