ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – Controversial talk show host Rosemary Cindy Rosan, who had publicly criticised a contract for the installation of Air Conditioning Units at the Multi-Purpose Sports Complex, has now fallen on her own sword and praised the work of the project led by Quality Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Ltd.

In a social media post made on December 14, 2022, Rosan said the work was one that is nothing short of excellence, after months of criticising the project.

“One thing I’ll always do, is give jack his jacket. I’m rough when it comes to holding the Government and its contracts accountable. A lot of conversation was had with the contract to fix the Multipurpose Complex’s AC. That contract has now been fulfilled, and the result is nothing short of excellence,” she added.

The Air Conditioning Units began working some weeks ago, during the just concluded Industrial Volleyball League and it was well received by patrons and players alike.

Work 'Absolutely exceptional' - Cindy

Calling the work ‘absolutely exceptional and done with pride,” Ms Rosan, who was reportedly a strong critic of the project, has had a change of opinion and added that she loves when locals shine through and had high praises for Quality Air Conditioning and Refrigeration and its Director Mr Kelvin Thomas.

When contacted, Mr Thomas declined to comment via telephone; however, Rosan said she hopes the Ministry of Education will ensure the new AC units are maintained.

The local Recovery and Development Agency (RDA) has from the beginning said the price of the project was right and represented value for public monies.

Rosan had reported dedicated a lot of time on local radio criticising the project, although it was being executed and led by a Virgin Islander.

U ppl are not ac experts u nor did any of u went and evaluate the broken system to see wat the scope of works were for that money. Yet a company who does the same work for way longer quotes way cheaper. U ppl really are well fooled

Persons like you is one of the reasons the place have so much say say drama. What is up with the constant shade and salty S**t. If that is the case, then someone up in Social Development is putting peoples business on the street. No joke, you sound like a STALKER!!!!

Why does it always have to be someone at Social Development putting people's business on the street? Persons put their own business on the street but it is easier to blame the organization. There are a lot of people, me included, go to social development and I NEVER hear my business on the street. Please...

It takes a very strongman/woman to recant on an issue they once criticized. I would like to say though that regardless to who led or execute any public project, whether it is a local company or expat if there is a need to criticize we should not be afraid to do it.

She came back and give praises! I just don't understand...
