CIBC hands over cheque for $62K to BVI Cancer Society

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- CIBC Caribbean made its biggest donation to the BVI Cancer Society when it presented a cheque for $62,525.00 on Tuesday, February 6, 2024.

The cheque represented monies raised for the 2023 Walk For The Cure.

Branch Manager and Acting Country Manager Mr Fabian S. Devonish presented the large cheque to President of the BVI Cancer Society Ms Gloria A. Fahie, a cancer survivor.

The presentation was done at CIBC Caribbean and among those in attendance were several sponsors of the Walk For The Cure.

    No mention of the many companies that contributed to this event! Very disappointing that CIBC took 100% credit

      If you were at the event you would have heard him thank each and every company that assisted and if you look at the first picture all of the Platinum sponsors were there in attendance!

    That’s just a face. I would never advise or recommend anyone to do business with that bank. Worse bank in the B. V. I. I am a local businessman here.
