I truly hope the young boy will be okay. If the parents did not want any police assistance, they must have seen what happened. They must know their child ran into the road colliding with the taxi. Then there is always that they didn't want police involved because they are here ********. I know the police should have made a report for any accident whether the parents wanted it or not, to protect the child if further medical things crop up, and to protect the taxi driver with his insurance. Very strange the parents didn't want a report made, but he was taken to the hospital.

The new road layout is definitely encouraging the idiots to speed through that area. I was also nearly knocked over on a crossing on Friday.

Kill your speed idiots before you kill someone.

Parents please teach your children the proper ways of crossing the road.
    (1) Make eye contact with the driver(s)
    (2) Ensure the driver(s) has motion to you that it is safe to cross the road
    (3) briskly cross the road maintaining eye contract with the vehicle(s) driver(s)
