Chief Inspector Adrianne Grant-Davis awarded Leader of the Future
The awards are supported by the United Kingdom’s Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office and the Women in Policing Network. It recognises the exceptional female officers and allies across the Overseas Territories who are driving change, leadership, and innovation within policing.
The awardees were announced during an online ceremony on April 29, 2026.
In September 2022, Chief Inspector Grant-Davis represented the Virgin Islands at the funeral procession of Queen Elizabeth II.
An outstanding achievement
The RVIPF, in a statement, said it was proud to celebrate the “outstanding achievement” of Chief Inspector Grant-Davis. The Leader of the Future Award specifically honours emerging leaders who are already making a meaningful impact within the policing family.
Chief Inspector Grant-Davis was nominated for the award and emerged as the winner. Winners are selected through a nomination process and reviewed by an independent panel.
Deputy Governor, Mr David D. Archer Jr, personally presented Chief Inspector Grant-Davis with her award in the presence of Acting Commissioner of Police, Richard Ullger, senior RVIPF leadership, officers and staff of the organisation.
It was described as a proud and memorable moment for the RVIPF.
