CGB woman charged for allegedly uttering forged document to Immigration Dept- RVIPF
According to the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF), Tasheka Bernard, 31, of Cane Garden Bay, Tortola, was charged with one count of Conspiracy to Provide False Information to a Person Employed in a Public Service, contrary to sections 124 and 346 of the 2013 Criminal Code, and one count of Conspiracy to Uttering a Forged Document, contrary to sections 257 and 346 of the 2013 Criminal Code.
Police in a press release today, July 5, 2024, said Bernard was granted $20,000 bail and is to appear at the Magistrate’s Court on September 12, 2024.
"This investigation is being led by the COI Police Investigation Team. As the matter is now in sub judice the RVIPF will make no further comment," the RVIPF stated.
