GREENLAND, Tortola, VI- Cedar School and Enid Scatliffe White emerged as champions of the BDO Primary Schools Football Leagues which concluded with three thrilling finals on February 1, 2024, at Greenland Field on Tortola.

Enid Scatliffe White are U7 BDO Champions

Enid Scatliffe White won the U7 Championship with a 1-nil victory over BVI SDA School, thanks to an early goal by Earalon Prescott.

The U7 champions played unbeaten throughout the league and dominated all teams except for BVI SDA School who they beat 2-1 in the group stage and was found to be a strong challenge again in the Final.

CEDAR B crowned U9 Champions

In the U9 Category, Cedar B also scored an early goal that would end up being enough to win the Final against St George’s Primary. Alexander Wilson was the lone goalscorer.

It was sweet revenge for Cedar B, as St George’s had eliminated Cedar School’s A Team in the semi-finals.

Cedar A overcome Cedar B in U12 Final

The U12 Final was an all Cedar School affair, as it was a clash between the A and B teams.

Cedar A proved to be the better team in the championship game, as they won 3-1.

Liam Miguel, Okiel Mc Kennon, and Charlie Sanders were the goal scorers for Cedar A.

George Hollingworth netted the lone goal for Cedar B.

The presentation ceremony is slated for June 2024.

    Kudos to everyone for a job well done. The kids had fun and we can see some future stars in the making. It was great seeing the girls holding their on on the field with the boys. Big up to BDO, BVIFA and Coach Cass and her team.

    If cedar school kids can be a lil more rough! They will be unstoppable!! Cause they more focus and love the sport
