ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - CCT, the BVI’s leading telecommunications provider, today announced the launch of the company’s managed Wi-Fi service, CCT Wi-Fi, a new wireless internet service available at a number of hotspot locations throughout the VI.

As a major benefit of being a CCT customer, all CCTnet and CCTmax unlimited internet customers gain access to the new CCT Wi-Fi network free of charge via personal username and password.

CCT Wi-Fi offers a convenient wireless internet access via any Wi-Fi enabled device. Customers will be able to connect to the service by selecting the “CCT Wi-Fi” SSID at participant locations. This new and exciting addition to CCT’s internet service offering is powered by CCT’s 4G broadband network CCTmax.

CCT Wi-Fi is currently available at a variety of the BVI’s top restaurants, bars and beaches. Locations include: Gertrude’s White Bay Jost Van Dyke, Jolly Roger Tortola, Peg Legs Nanny Cay Tortola, Capt. Mulligan’s Nanny Cay Tortola, Waterfront Taxi Stand Tortola, Noel Lloyd Park Tortola, UP’s Cineplex Tortola, Myett’s Cane Garden Bay Tortola, Mariette’s Fort Hill Tortola, Virgin Gorda Yacht Harbor, Top of the Bath’s VG, Speedy’s Ferry Service on Unforgettable and Peacemaker, and the T.B. “We want to keep our internet customers connected wherever they are in the BVI,” said Jose Luis Fernandez, CCT General Manager. “We are pleased to provide all of our internet customers with the added benefit of free Wi-Fi, a perfect match for their CCTnet and CCTmax internet plans.”

Non-CCT internet customers can also benefit from CCT Wi-Fi for a small fee, starting at only $4.99.

Paid plans are available for purchase via credit card at any CCT Wi-Fi location. "The BVI is a popular destination for visitors and vacationers worldwide who need a cost-effective alternative to connect to the internet," said Jose Luis Fernandez.
