SLANEY, Tortola, VI—Last night, a car slammed head-on into a utility pole in the Slaney area of Tortola and was still on the scene late this morning, November 10, 2024.

It is unclear what circumstances resulted in the driver losing control of their black Nissan Fuga.

It is also unclear if anyone was injured.

From all indications, it was a one-vehicle accident.

    I was driving at a moderate speed and this crazy pole stepped out in front of me, I blew my horn but it won't move.

    when will we start burying the electrical cables? The streetlights can be solar powered (as WE) but the cables should be buried to be more resilient... we need to start this ASAP while repairing the roads...
