LOWER HOPE, Tortola, VI- It is unclear if anyone was seriously injured; however, a car ended up turning turtle on the roadway at Lower Hope today, February 20, 2022.

The lone vehicle accident took place around 12:00pm.

A video shared with our newsroom shows the rental vehicle upside down. No one was in the vehicle or attending to it.

Police were on the scene directing traffic.

The circumstances surrounding the accident are unclear to this newsroom.

    If the driver was able, why didn't they call for help? Something here is not right and the rental company should have been called. More of this story to come.

    This looks like they fell from up above, not a flip. I hope they survived. To land upside down means they might have head and neck injuries. Since this is a rental car, was the company notified so they can tell who re Ted it?

      there was car debris just as the bend started so look like they took the bend too tight / fast, hit the side of the road and then flipped over.
