Cannabis Plants Seized Following Tip-off

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- On Wednesday 12th September, at about 2pm, a joint operation between the RVIPF Task Force and the RVIPF CID Proactive unit seized 36 cannabis plants in various stages of maturity from the Hope Estate area; in addition, 200 seedlings and 10 plants about 2ft tall were seized from an area in Shepherd Hill.

The discovery of the illegal plants, which remain in Police possession pending disposal, were based on intelligence and information provided by a member of the public. No arrests were made at the time but investigations continue.
