I want to commend the government of the Virgin Island for stepping up to the plate and support the athletes who are representing the Territory and are performing well at international level. It is long overdue, and I am sure more athletes will be inspired to perform well. I want to wish Kyron all the best in his preparation for the Olympics. May God takes care of him.

Not so fast with your praise. If athletes have to first qualify, then this is pure BS. They need fund NOW to help them qualify. Qualifying for Athletics ends in June. The Olympics is July. So you dancing that they have to wait until after the Olympics to get help. Ok Then.

What about the upcoming athletes at the carfita level those are who need the motivation to get to this level of competing. We have the Morton girl who consistently medals at carifta and other meets from what I’ve seen. Where is the support ??
