BVIFA welcomes experienced FIFA Talent Coach Joel Moody

EAST END, Tortola, VI- The BVI Football Association (BVIFA) has announced it is now equipped with a FIFA Talent Coach.

Joel Moody, who works within FIFA’s Talent Development Scheme (TDS)and holds a UEFA A Licence, the Advanced Youth Award, and a BSc in Sports Coaching Performance, has been appointed to work with the BVIFA as part of FIFA’s Talent Development Scheme, which is centred on the principles of “find, train, play” and the belief that every talent deserves a chance.

Experienced talent coach

According to the BVIFA, Joel has led programmes at several professional football clubs, including Swansea City Football Club, Vancouver Whitecaps Football Club, Southampton Football Club, Coventry City Football Club, and, most recently, Aston Villa Football Club.

"He has also proudly supported the development of a number of young players who have gone on to represent their countries, including England, at youth level," the BVIFA stated.

In this role, Moody will support the Association’s ongoing work, contribute to the continued development of player pathways, and help strengthen opportunities for emerging talent across the Territory.
