BVIFA Men’s & Women’s national leagues resume this weekend

EAST END, Tortola, VI- After a pause for the Christmas holidays, play in the BVI Football Association (BVIFA) Men’s and Women’s national leagues will resume this weekend.

The Women’s National League will see action on Saturday, January 13, 2024, at Greenland Football Field, when Positive and Avengers square off at 7:00 PM.

Play continues on Sunday, January 14, 2024, on Virgin Gorda, with Wolues and Vg United clashing from 5:45 PM.

Men’s National League action

The first game in the Men’s National League for the new year will be between Rebels and Positive FC from 6:00 PM on Sunday,

The other game of the doubleheader at Greenland Playfield will involve Islanders and Sugar Boys from 8:30 PM.

The lone game on Virgin Gorda in the Men’s League will see Panthers of Tortola battling home team VG United.

The points table in the Men’s National League is led by Wolues FC with 15 points. VG United are second on 13, Islanders FC are third on 10 points, while Sugar Boys are fourth on goal difference ahead of Panthers FC, with both teams on 9 points.
