EAST END, Tortola, VI- The BVI Football Association (BVIFA) has had lots to cheer about lately, with the performances of the various national teams; however, a damper has been cast with the vandalising of one of its buses.

According to reports reaching our newsroom, the back glass of one of the buses parked on BVIFA property in East End was damaged between Saturday night and Sunday morning, August 28, 2022.

Our newsroom was also told by BVIFA sources that this is the third time one of its buses has been vandalised. “And it happens while the buses are parked on the FA property,” the source added.

The same bus was damaged by unknown persons last year August.

Another bus was vandalised in April of this year, as someone broke one of its windows.

Police are said to be investigating.

The BVIFA is hoping persons can assist police in finding the perpetrators of the “disgraceful” acts.

What was the purpose of doing this? This is for our community to transport people back and forth. There are just too many lame brains and non-working people hanging around. There is absolutely no gain in doing this, just hatred. SMDH!

It should not be thought that they are all human hands, remember that the change in temperature, the climax, causes physical effects, it happened to me and my vehicle has no signs of human violence, I cannot accuse and I have a camera

The worst community. Bums, Crackheads, Thieves, Vagrants, Drunks, Criminals and unmannerly people thrive in that community. They stole from my property. They vandalize my property. I had to move from there for peace of mind. Since I moved to the west, none of those issues ever happened to me. Not to mention the constant noise from Scooters is another issue East End have.
