BVIFA announces football squad ahead of international fixture in Cayman Islands

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- The British Virgin Islands Football Association (BVIFA) has officially announced the latest squad selected to represent the territory as preparations intensify for upcoming international competitions.

The team is scheduled to travel to the Cayman Islands from March 23 to March 30 2026.

'Well-balanced roster'

Head Coach David Pérez, according to the BVIFA, has named a well-balanced roster that combines experienced players with emerging talent, signalling the Association’s continued focus on strengthening the national programme.

The defensive unit will be led by Ikyiah Williams, T’khoy Morton, Jaden Abrams, Quelahni Nickie, Jerry Wilshire, Charles Medway, and Kristian Javier. 

In midfield, Marc Tan, William Green, Luka Chalwell, T’Sharne Gallimore, Joel Mars, and Carson Price will be tasked with controlling the tempo of matches and linking defense with attack. 

The attacking line features Decoi Prince, Tyler Forbes, Johari Lacey, and Javaun Splatt.

Goalkeeping duties will be handled by Harry Foden and Frankie Beckles, both of whom bring reliability and composure between the posts.

Coach Pérez will be supported by Assistant Coach/Equipment Manager Richie Morton, Physiotherapist Chester James, Goalkeeper Coach Simon Cross, Analyst Jose Galan, and Team Manager Shantel Lennard.

Speaking on the squad selection, Coach Pérez noted that the group reflects the commitment and hard work of players who continue to push the standard of football in the territory. He expressed confidence that the team will represent the Virgin Islands with determination and pride as they prepare for the matches ahead.

The BVIFA said it will provide further updates on matches and team activities through its official media channels.
