LONG BUSH, Tortola, VI - Effective Tuesday, July 15, 2026, the BVI Electricity Corporation (BVIEC) will begin accepting Water and Sewerage Department (W&SD) bill payments at its Long Bush office, providing greater convenience for Virgin Islanders.

Merger of BVIEC & W&SD

The move follows the formal merger of BVIEC and W&SD, which received approval from the House of Assembly and was assented to by Governor Daniel Pruce on June 6, 2026.

According to a correspondence issued on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, the Ministry of Communications and Works informed customers of the Water and Sewerage Department that water bill payments may now be made at the BVI Electricity Corporation's Long Bush office.

The correspondence stated, however, “Payments remain available at the Owomar Building, while the BVIEC Long Bush office has been added to support the ongoing transition and provide customers with greater convenience.”

Customers are advised to walk with their relevant account information when visiting the BVIEC Long Bush office to pay their water bills.

Great news, all I need is a proper web portal to pay water bills too. Being able to pay electricity online has been fantastic.
