NANNY CAY, VI – Over 64 boats from 15 countries are competing in the 53rd BVI Spring Regatta & Sailing Festival, one of the Caribbean's premier sailing events.

Festival schedule

The festival opened on Monday, March 23, 2026, with registration. Racing officially begins today, Tuesday, March 24, as the Sailing Festival fleet tackles an 11-nautical-mile course to Scrub Island Resort, Spa & Marina—a short, friendly sprint perfect for warming up.

Competitors will celebrate at a lively beach party on the laid-back Marina Cay, complete with stunning views and island vibes.

The action intensifies on Wednesday, March 25, with the renowned Round Tortola Race for the Nanny Cay Cup. On Thursday, March 26, the three-day Spring Regatta proper gets underway, culminating on Friday, March 27, in the iconic Mount Gay Race Day finale.

Diverse fleet of boats

The BVI Spring Regatta will feature three days of competitive racing followed by the final awards ceremony and party on the evening of Sunday, March 29, 2026.
