BVI SDA School take first win in 2023 BDO Schools Football League

GREENLAND, Tortola, VI- Action in the 2023 BDO Schools Football League kicked off with two games on Thursday, October 19, 2023, at Greenland on Tortola.

In the U7 League, BVI Seventh-day Adventist School edged Enid Scatliffe Maroon 2-0 with Xavion Fraites scoring in the 18th minute and then Quasar de Venecia made it 2-0.

In the U9 League, SDA School came from behind to draw 1-1 against a resilient Pelican Gate.

Rodney Prince Jr netted for Pelican Gate in the 18th minute but Joel Marquise levelled matters in the 25th minute.

3 games were postponed on Thursday due to schools on the east side being unavailable.

Games resume on Monday, October 23, 2023.
