BVI Finance elects new board members

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- BVI Finance convened its Annual General Meeting (AGM) with a central focus on the election of members to its Board of Directors on Wednesday, March 25, 2026.

BVI Finance is responsible for protecting and promoting the Virgin Islands’ financial services industry. Newly elected directors are Amy Roost, Managing Director of Client Services at Harneys Fiduciary, and Thami Majozi, Operations Manager at Exness (BVI). According to BVI Finance’s newsletter, they “bring valuable industry insight and international experience to the Board” for their two-year term.

Roost and Majozi join re-elected Directors Chris Newton, Managing Partner at Maples Group (BVI); Christopher Simpson, Partner at O'Neal Webster; and Iona Wright, Partner at Walkers (BVI).

It added that George Weston, Partner at Harneys (BVI); Sabinah Clement, Head of International Finance Centres, Global Incorporation at VISTRA; Fanny Evans, Partner at Morgan and Morgan and Kayla Laidlaw, Tax Director at Deloitte (BVI), are continuing the second half of their two-year terms. 

Looking forward to their leadership

The elected members will elect the Chair of the Board of Directors. BVI Finance comprises over 100 member firms and represents a broad cross-section of the financial services industry. 

“BVI Finance congratulates the newly elected and re-elected directors and looks forward to their continued leadership in guiding the organisation and supporting the BVI’s ongoing growth and global competitiveness,” the newsletter added. 

Outgoing Board member, Jonathan Bailey, was also thanked for his years of service and contributions to the organisation.
