GREAT HARBOUR, Jost van Dyke, VI- A man lost his life in a lone-vehicle accident on Jost van Dyke last night, January 19, 2023.

According to reports, the deceased has been identified as businessman Seddy Callwood, the owner of Seddy's One Love Bar and Grill.

It is unclear the circumstances surrounding the accident, which occurred on the eastern end of Jost van Dyke.

"The RVIPF can confirm the death of the male driver in a lone vehicle collision on Jost Van Dyke this morning. Investigations are ongoing," the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) stated this morning, January 20, 2023.

The news comes on the heel of a fatal accident involving a motorcycle and a car on Tortola last evening.

Dead is 19-year-old Vincent Huggins.

    RIP To that man, but accidents happens to people that are alive, via; boat, car, bike, foot, plane anything.
    just drive ride and sail with cautious everyday check your brake and service your vehicle wear helmet, after you die you cant check on those things anymore... respect others and your life.

    I always wanted to come to One Love Restaurant to try your soup. One of my favorite chefs - Alton Brown - came to BVI and said your soup was one of the TOP FIVE things he EVER put into his mouth and was the best soup he ever had.

    So sorry to hear this our hearts are heavy with this news, love and prayers to the family. He was kind enough to give us some passion fruit seeds and we still have it growing in our backyard we now will fondly have something to remember him by. May God rest his soul.
