“Men lie, women lie, numbers don't lie”

Jay Z

Condolences to the friends and families of those who have passed away in the Virgin Islands due to COVID-19 over the last month.

In following the debate in the Virgin Islands over COVID, vaccines, and unfortunate deaths, over the last month, there seems to be a consistent thread of misinformation that has only served to worsen the situation.

Myths vs. realities

It is time for us to have a reality check about COVID and related issues.

  • Bush tea, whilst full of medicinal properties, cannot stop or cure COVID-19

  • Ivermectin, a worm medicine, cannot cure COVID-19

  • The Virgin Islands is on the CDC Level 4 list, which will impact your tourist industry

  • A drop in your tourist industry will result in hundreds / thousands being unemployed

The above facts, whilst debatable, are undeniable.

Numeric realities

Here are the immunization rates of regional Overseas Territories respectively

  • Anguilla: 55 per cent

  • Bermuda Islands: 65 per cent

  • Cayman Islands: 70 per cent

  • Montserrat: 25 per cent

  • Turks and Caicos Islands: 60 per cent

  • Virgin Islands: 37 per cent

Not one of the islands with high rates of immunization are experiencing outbreaks and death, as seen in the Virgin Islands. So, the claim that vaccines kill people is completely false.

Anyone looking at the COVID related numbers in the Virgin Islands should be extremely concerned.

  • As of July 31, 2021, the Government of the Virgin Islands will have to dispose of 7,000 doses of Astrazeneca vaccine. That is equivalent to 3,500 persons being immunised

  • As of July 30, 2021, less than 40% of the population in the Virgin Islands is fully immunized. That is the second lowest immunization rate in the Overseas Territories. Second only to Montserrat.

  • As of July 30, there have been over 30 COVID related deaths in the Virgin Islands, all within one month.

  • The Virgin Islands now has the highest mortality rate in all of the Overseas Territories.

Please wake up

The reality is that thousands of persons in the Virgin Islands are dependent on the tourist economy.

So, if your COVID numbers are so high that you are on the CDC Level 4 list, how many visitors will simply go elsewhere that they feel safer?

More importantly, how many more of our friends, and family, have to pass away before the reality sets in that Bush Tea is no cure for COVID-19?

Let's hope and pray that all the followers of the maniacal conspiracy theorists open their eyes and use their brains, to make decisions concerning their own health and the long term survival of our beautiful Virgin Islands. Only very foolish people will continue to believe that the vaccine does not work, when most of the people who are sick and hospitalized globally are the UNVACCINATED. Wake up folks or you're going to kill yourself and others.

I'm In total agreement. Wake up people of the Virgin Islands. The vaccine helps us to live longer. I took the vaccine that was free of charge, and I can assure you that it helps.

I agree bush tea is a broad term you can not go drinking any bush and expect it to be one and the same.

certain plants have antibacterial & antiviral activity. Until now there is no mainstream word or research into the thousand(s) year tried and tested plants.

They’re waiting to develop patented analogous because by their logic people shouldn’t be able to grow their medication.

This vaccine business is a multi billion dollar industry they will not invest in other research.

Below is the summary of Macron's speech yesterday in France announcing measures for those who do not want to be vaccinated. Already today there were a million appointments to get vaccinated

"I am in favor of the French line right now. I no longer have any intention of sacrificing my life, my time, my freedom and the adolescence of my daughters, as well as their right to study properly, for those who refuse to be vaccinated. This time you stay at home, not us. "

In France, those who do not get vaccinated will no longer be able to go to restaurants, cafes (from the beginning of August), cinemas and museums (from July 21) and get on airplanes or trains (again from August). Alternatively, you will have to submit a negative test, which will no longer be free (49 euros for the PCR, 29 for the antigen) Macron then announced the vaccination obligation for medical personnel and for those who work in contact with fragile people. Since September 15, a nurse who has refused to be vaccinated will no longer be able to go to work and receive a salary. "We cannot make those who have the civic sense to get vaccinated bear the burden of inconvenience," Macron said. "The restrictions will weigh on others, those who for reasons incomprehensible in the country of Louis Pasteur, science and the Enlightenment still hesitate to use the only weapon available against the pandemic, the vaccine" "I am aware of what I am asking you," he said, "and I know that you are ready for this commitment. This is, in a sense, part of your sense of duty."

Ganja does not either. Please vaccinate. Do yourself and yours a favor. In the end it will benefit the country.

Who dont hear will feel. For those who dont want to vaccinate either you vaccinate or sleep in the Morgue.
Then sleep in the Cemetery of your family's choice.
That's all I have to say.
    P.S. IM FULLY VACCINATED...
    B.V.I. This is WARNING!!!!!!!!
