Bunji, Faye Ann threw it down!

The couple backed by the Asylum Band hit the stage sometime before 1:00 am and performed their signature hit 'Everybody clap those hands' as one of their more popular pieces. By this time the crowd had begun to get thick around the stage front and other areas in the Patsy Lake Festiville.
The pair also performed Party Animal and had the crowd moving and putting their hands in the air and waving flags and rags.
Faye Ann Lyons also did some beautiful covers of Beresford Hammond Putting up a Resistance and Those were the Days. And she also did Gimme Likkle One Drop done originally by Jamaican reggae crooner Tarrus Riley. She challenged persons in the audience whether they knew some of the conscious lyrics that she belted out.
The couple also performed a cover of Pharrell's Happy, aptly demonstrating their versatility at adapting to any genre of music even though primarily known for soca.
Saving the best for last, they then gave a proper performance of one of their biggest hits: We’re Ready, a soca song that has been remixed to feature US hip-hop megastar Trevor Tahiem Smith aka ‘Busta Rhymes’ recently.
This song certainly came along when they crowd clearly demonstrated that they were ready for more but not quite ready to go home.
Following the scintillating performance by Faye Ann Lyons and Bunji Garlin it was time for the crowd to feel the VIBE.
The 2014 road March Champs took to the stage with a number of original pieces and covers of popular hits by such artists like Sam Smith and others. They also featured hot dancing females as part of their stage props to add to the sizzle of the night. Earlier in the night, premier Fungi band the Razor Blades sliced up the atmosphere with their traditional Fungi music.
