‘Bumpy’ accused of beating girlfriend, damaging her weave
His girlfriend had to seek medical attention at the Dr D. Orlando Smith Hospital for her injuries.
The conversation at the club, between Lockhart the Virtual Complainant (VC) and a man, was about money, the court heard.
The man reportedly approached the VC and asked her for $10 but she denied it to him.
During the course of several hours that followed that conversation, the accused (Osbourne) fought several times with the VC and destroyed her weave, handbag, and even Sea View Hotel’s fixtures and door, where she was staying during her visit.
He was charged with assault causing actual bodily harm and five counts of criminal damage.
Alllegations
The allegations were read in court by Crown Counsel Patrice Hickson, who said the accused told the VC that he was ending their relationship after he witnessed the conversation between her and the other man in the club.
Sometime afterwards, the VC saw the accused fighting with the same man she spoke with earlier and she went to part the men when she saw the other man was armed with a machete.
Notwithstanding her intervention which led to the de-escalation of the fight between the men, Osbourne turned on her in the car and started beating her on her head with an unknown object and she started bleeding from a head wound.
They left the club’s parking lot and when they arrived on Main Street, he ordered her to exit the car and she did, while she was only wearing her underwear.
The assault continued when they arrived back in the hotel room and it lasted for several hours, and during that time, they argued over the damaged steering and other parts of the car they drove, which belonged to a relative of Osbourne.
Phone smashed
That time, he allegedly smashed her business phone and caused damage to the hotel room.
The pair eventually had sexual intercourse and went to bed but around 9 am, the VC felt the bed sheet she was using being pulled by Osbourne.
He was again arguing with her over the damages to the vehicle and who was going to fix it.
They got into another fight and the VC tried calling for help and she managed to escape and found a hotel worker.
The hotel worker called the manager and the manager called the police after the VC said she wanted their intervention.
She had to be taken to the hospital for medical attention as at that point she was badly beaten and had swollen body parts.
Osbourne was eventually arrested and charged.
CCTV footage of the hotel was also reviewed.
During his interview with the police, he said it was the VC who instigated the fight and destroyed the vehicle’s interior.
Bail granted
Osbourne, a local contractor, was granted $25,000 signed bail and was asked to stay away from the VC and report every Friday to the West End Police Station between 6:00 am and 12:00 pm.
He did not have a lawyer present and he was not made to enter pleas.
He is scheduled to return to court on February 1, 2022.

When you want a gangster but not the lifestyle that comes with it! I hope she’s not stupid enough to stay with him!
Gangster is beating up men who beat on women
A report is made to the police regarding these 2 love birds
At Court, They will ask him if he is still with her- he will say yes! This is the time when he demonstrates that they are so in love and need each other.
And then the Crown will propose he be sent to Partnership for Peace with Dr Wright for counseling
AND THEN THE CROWN INDICATES THEY WILL DISCONTINUE THE CHARGES @ THE END OF COUNSELING
THE SAME CROWN WHO SAYS THEY HAVE A ZERO TOLERANCE TO DOMESTIC VIOLENCE
AND HIS BAD BEHAVIOUR WILL JUST GO UNPUNISHED.
The end.
He is a disgrace to Carrot Bay!
