Born for Greatness
On 02.02.2020 I had the wonderful opportunity to attend the launching of my cousin, the Deputy Governor, David D. Archer Jr’s book- Pioneering Greatness in his own unique and enterprising way.
It was in the form of a very entertaining concert with a hilarious play by the Stoutt Sisters, an enlightening panel discussion and an uplifting and positive talk by my fluent cousin. Mr Archer complemented his celebratory performance by energetic dancing and lively music. His act was nothing less than awesome.
As my cousin confidently spoke, I sat at the edge of my seat and drank it all in. He said that we are all created for greatness. He went on to say that from time children are young we must empower and teach them that they are born for greatness. The reasons so many people have low self-esteem and a poor image of themselves is because they were never inspired to believe they could become notable.
One does not have to be born in a special family to become great. The desire for greatness comes from within. We must become all that we can become. We all have the potential for greatness; consequently we just need to tap into our source of greatness. The source of our greatness is God and God alone. He created us with abilities to be great and it leaves us to embrocate our greatest potential.
Many of us are not aware that greatness is our God given destiny. As a people we must rise above the ignorance of the society and negative people. We must be around positive and intelligent persons who themselves have risen above the ignorance and negativity of our society. As we strive for greatness, we must leave behind idle gossiping and narrow mindedness. In our quest for greatness we must avoid the negative mentality at all cost.
Finally, we can aspire for greatness because it is within us and nothing is beyond our grasp. If we reach for the sky, we may touch a star!
