MAJOR BAY, Tortola, VI- A small vessel powered by two outboard engines was destroyed by fire at Major Bay, on the eastern end of Tortola, early this morning, May 9, 2019.
According to reports from persons in the East End area, the fire was noticed around 5:30am.
The cause of the blaze is not yet known by our newsroom.
Chief Fire Officer Zebalon A. McLean confirmed the boat fire incident but provided no further details.
We will provide more information as it comes in.
