BIRAS CREEK, Virgin Gorda, VI- Biras Marina & Resort, formally Biras Creek Resort, continues to expand.

The marina and resort, located in North Sound, Virgin Gorda, began operations as Biras Marina & Resort in 2024, following years of planning and restoration after the two devastating back-to-back hurricanes- Irma and Maria.

Biras Marina & Resort began its phased opening with the debut of Ikigai, a Japanese-Caribbean restaurant, and will open a new restaurant in a matter of days.

The official opening of The Mangrove will take place on Friday, January 2, 2026.

Biras Marina & Resort said the restaurant opening will mark the beginning of many future developments as “we continue building what we hope will become a landmark within the British Virgin Islands tourism industry”.

    Biras Creek Resort has long been a source of steady employment for our community, and I truly wish them well on all their current and future endeavors. I have personally seen this place built from scratch, and it looks like it's going to be another amazing place to hangout at in the beautiful North Sound area.
