This was confirmed at the 2nd annual Media Day and Awards Ceremony held at A.O. Shirley Recreation Grounds on Sunday, September 22, 2024, when the outstanding performers of the recently concluded 2023-24 football season were presented with individual and team trophies

Members of the newly elected BVIFA Executive were also on hand to make the presentations and the President, Mr Avanell Morton, addressed the sizeable crowd that had gathered to witness the proceedings in support of their teams and favourite players.

BDO 'excited'

The school league dates were confirmed by the Managing Director of BDO, Mr Ryan R.E. Geluk. “The league powers the national league and teams and is a quintessential part of football development and youth wellness. We are excited by the community aspect of this year’s competition, which is how it all started a dozen years ago.“

Sponsors are already coming on board to support the new vision of school football, including Oil Nut Bay, who will be supporting Robinson O’Neal Memorial Primary School and Yates Associates sponsoring Ciboney School of Excellence.

According to the BVIFA, JTV and 284Media are also “stepping up” as well as Speedy’s Ferry Service.
